Axel Lawarée, a distinguished former professional striker and experienced football manager, has recently embarked on an exciting new chapter in his career as a

Axel's career began at a very young age, he demonstrated exceptional skills as a striker. Leaving home at a young age, he lived in multiple countries, balancing family life and a professional career.
With a career spanning across notable clubs like
Standard de Liège, FC Sevilla, and Rapid Wien, he honed his understanding of the game. This experience broadened his understanding of different football cultures and styles.
In 2001, Axel's career led him to Austria, where he played for
SW Bregenz. His time there was highlighted by becoming the
top scorer in the 2002-03 season, a testament to his prowess on the field.
Axel's move to Rapid Wien in early 2004 marked another successful step in his career. He played a pivotal role in the team becoming national champions in 2005. The following season was particularly notable as he participated in the Champions League for the first time, reaching the group stage with Rapid.
A significant challenge in his career occurred during a
derby against Austria Wien
in May 2005.
A collision with goalkeeper Joey Didulica resulted in a broken nose for Lawarée, requiring multiple operations.
This setback, however, didn't deter his spirit or career progression.
Following his recovery, Lawarée joined
FC Augsburg
in 2006, under his former coach Rainer Hörgl. In 2007, he moved to
Fortuna Düsseldorf, and in 2010, he transitioned from player to different management roles.
Axel's experience in football management began in earnest between 2014 and 2016 as the
Technical Director at Standard Liège. He then joined
RFC Seraing as Academy Director, coordinating the Youth Development department. In 2019, he took up a role with the
Belgian Football Federation as the site manager of the state-of-the-art training center of the Belgian Red Devils in Tubize.
In his new role at Claes Agency, Axel is responsible for nurturing and developing high potentials. His extensive experience as a player and manager allows him to offer nuanced guidance, helping aspiring athletes understand and navigate the complexities of a football career.
